Founded by a software engineer with over 15 years of experience, momNpop.us began with a simple raised garden bed. After cultivating cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, I discovered the joy and challenge of growing food—and gained deep respect for local farmers and producers. Inspired by roadside signs for fresh eggs, local honey, and farm stands, I set out to create a platform that connects consumers with small businesses producing high-quality goods right in their communities.
As a developer, I saw a gap: existing platforms like Google Maps often prioritize big chains or are hard for small producers to update. momNpop.us changes that by making it easy to discover local products—whether on your commute or near your home.
